Hello CSL Members and Friends,
Below we are sharing a memo from Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing. This Department administers Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program), Child Health Plan Plus and other programs for Coloradans who qualify. We are sharing this memo so you can see the depth of oversight that the State of Colorado provides for facilities and care providers, many of which are serving older adults. Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF) is also a group that Colorado Senior Lobby has a lot of contact with during the legislative session and during the summer and fall when we are researching issues impacting older adults. Read below to learn more about what is being done to protect our most vulnerable citizens in Colorado.
Regards, Bob Brocker, President of Colorado Senior Lobby
