The Colorado Senior Lobby’s annual summer social on Friday, August 18, 2017 is an important event for all to attend but just as important is to stay for the Annual Business Meeting that follows the social.

The summer social program is scheduled for 9:30 to noon with early continental breakfast and networking from 8:30 to 9:30. All Colorado Legislators are invited to attend the morning socializing hour, plus we have allotted the first hour of the meeting for legislators to address the group.

Starting around 10:00AM the main program starts where we will celebrate what our Colorado Senior Lobby citizen lobbyists accomplished this year, plus share information about the Colorado political landscape and why Colorado Senior Lobby is so very important to seniors in Colorado. Part of our program also includes awarding the “Serving our Seniors” Awards to a citizen and legislators. We anticipate the main program to be finished at noon and then at 12:15 we will start the Colorado Senior Lobby 2017 Annual Business meeting. We anticipate the business meeting lasting until 12:45.

At the business meeting we will be electing new board members plus saying goodbye to some. We certainly appreciate all board members who have given their time to help grow Colorado Seniors Lobby.

We anticipate that the Colorado Senior Lobby Board will be as follows:

CSL Executive Committee Officers starting the 2nd Year of a 2 Year Term:

Ed Shackelford — President and Director
Michael Drake — Immediate Past President and Director
Rich Mauro — Chairman Legislative Committee and Director
